Our next meeting will be Sunday, March 9, 2008, it will be held this month at Urbana Gardens Restraunt on Lincoln Ave. in Urbana at 2:00 p.m. We are going to make bird toys and everyone is supposed to bring one item to make several toys out of. We are making toys for birds in the shelter, toys to sell at PETSTRAVAGANZA in April, and toys for our own birds. Some of the suggested items are available at the Dollar Tree or Dollar Store are coffee filter, muffin cups, brown paper bags with handles, paper plates or bowls with designs or faces on them, wood blocks,old fashion clothes pins, baby keys, curling ribbon, popsicle sticks, let your imagination run wild.
